Our Dispatchers provide the line of communication
between our Clients and our Officers out in the field.
They are also able to communicate with our On-Duty
Watch Commanders. Dispatchers field a wide variety
of calls, ranging from Clients, Alarm Companies, Tow
Companies, Tenants, Merchants, Police Departments,
Officers/other internal staff, and the general public.
Our phone lines are answered 24 hours per day, 7 days
per week. The person you need specifically may not be
readily available, but a courteous voice is always there
to answer you to the best of their ability in the absence
of someone else.

Our field division is compiled of Standing Uniform
Officers placed at specific locations. Our field
Officers have the most interaction with our Clients,
as they are directly on site with them. Our supervisors
work very hard to ensure that a client receives an
Officer that is compatible with the individual Client.
If our Client does not appreciate the Officer that
we send out for duty, then there is no reason for
us to be there. Communication regarding this issue
between Ontel Management and our Client is
extremely important to us.

Our most prestigious division yet. Our on-duty
Watch Commanders and supervisors checking
on our Field Division Officers, and taking care
of Patrol Clients. A Patrol Client is one that does
not have a standing site Officer, so they have their
property checked by vehicle patrol instead. Our
Watch Commanders do double duty as they serve
the Patrol Client, supervise Field Officers, and field
urgent after hour calls that need immediate attention
all at the same time. Weekends are the busiest time
for this division.

Ontel’s Bodyguards. They wear civilian clothing,
to match the dress code of the client they’re
protecting. Their firearm is always hidden, and you
will never be able to “see them coming”. All of
our Agents are outfitted with Concealed Weapons
Permits, and have gone through the California
Executive Protection Academy. This training is
more stringent than the training implemented at a
Police Academy. Our Agents have been trusted to
protect celebrities, dignitaries, congressman, and
even Police Officers. This is some of the most
dangerous work we do.

Ontel Security is taking more and more calls for
alarm responses each day. Due to the day and age
that we live in, Police and Sheriff Departments are
overloaded with calls for service. They simply do
not have the man power or time to respond to what
is probably a false alarm. Since statistics show that
97% of alarm calls are false, most law enforcement
agencies deem these calls to be “low priority”. In
turn, the citizen receives an extended response time.
The only factor to blame in this, is the rise in crime
rates, and in some cases, budget cuts. Alarm responses
are now falling on the private sector. All of our alarm
response Officers are armed with chemical agents,
baton and firearms. Ontel can contract with an alarm
company, or the homeowner directly, in order to
supply this service.
